Cherry Blossom Along the Shoulder

A red cherry blossom branch follows the shoulder into the upper arm.

The placement allows the branch to travel with the body instead of sitting as a flat image. The video records the mapping and finished tattoo, with small blossoms carrying the movement along the branch.

This blossom piece explores botanical movement along the shoulder; it sits alongside the smoke and brushstroke flow compositions in my portfolio.
